Numbers build from around June and July, peak in August and September, and taper off once the rains return in October and November. At its height it is the largest seasonal congregation of wild Asian elephants known anywhere.

It's the classic pairing. Climb Sigiriya Rock at dawn, rest through the middle of the day, and we'll collect you around 2:00 pm for the afternoon safari — back at your hotel by about 6:30 pm.
